If you want to become a professional helicopter pilot, you must have at least a Commercial Helicopter Pilot Certificate. But again, there is a gap between the amount of flight experience you have upon completion of training and the amount of flight experience needed to obtain many of the entry level commercial flying jobs.  The vast majority of pilots gain this necessary experience through teaching others to fly as a CFI.

Although training can be tailored to meet your own goals, it is recommended that you obtain as many ratings as possible to improve your initial employability.
